The anticipated opening date of the regenerated town centre is summer 2015. The current programme anticipates the following target dates:

v       The Core Strategy, which forms part of the Council's Local Development Framework (LDF), was adopted on 28 November 2007

v       The Town Centre North Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted on 23 January 2008

v       The Town Centre Wide SPD is due to be adopted in September 2008 (please see Crawley Borough Council's website for updates)

v       Planning Permission - Summer 2010

v       Anticipated start on site - Spring 2012

v       New Town Hall completion - Summer 2013

v       Scheme practical completion - Summer 2015
